Flying machines

After dusk, the old lady from the fifth1 floor
is smoking cigarettes on her ebony balcony.
Ten square meters, that her accute agoraphobia
barely stood for years.

And from up there, she beholds
secretly the life
of the opposite lovers.

She dreams up a parallel life.
Smiling, eyes stuck to a pair of binoculars
while she doesn't even know their names.
She prefers their cross-buildings relations
to remain anonymous

And the years go by and the peeping tom gets worried.
No more shadow puppets, no more mist on the windows.
In their room, the lovers turned into sleepwalkers.
The wild sleepless nights are a thing of the past.

It's the lovers' demise,
now they sleep in separate rooms
and the Richter scale has flatlined,
under a common roof of parallel solitudes.
In anonymity, a dream of something grandiose and sensual.

Now tonight, planes are on their way2
The neighbour's counterpane is their air terminal.
Secret dates folded in paper,
poems only Jardin3 would write.

' Tomorrow at midnight sharp, on the roof,
I'll wait you there. Signed: anonymous '
After dusk, in their Sunday's best,
the lovers meet, oblivious to the trick.

On a skyscaper's roof, you can see the light
of their engagement, like under the sun.
The watercoloured4 night carries their reunion,
and the old lady smiles,
eyes stuck to her binoculars.

  • 1. or 6th on the other side of the pond
  • 2. lit. 'planes have the trajectory'. The sentence is sightly broken, and 'trajectory of' would mean the paper planes follow the trajectory of the counterpane, which is hardly likely to fly across the street!
  • 3. . A novelist and political activist, advocating direct citizen actions for the greater good. His most famous novel (le zèbre) is about a man who comes up with surreal ideas to try and rekindle the flame of his jaded couple.
Very fitting for this salvage operation :).
  • 4. that's an invented word

Bear

I worry about my troubles, my heart bleeds but my clamour cant end.
ı look for but ı cant find. my patience is bold but there is no cure for it
ım embedded in your silence, being without you weigh anchor
ıt took time for me to believe but it is befitting for me to give up

infidelity is all over me, its easy for me to lose anymore
just say goodbye eventually ım tired of it
my eyes were my witness, ı saw, ı know the deep side
the consolation of separation is the deepest tune of loneliness

believe, believe, ı can recover myself in just a breath
bear, bear, make an end of yourself or just give up.

Help me move the car

It’s Friday, so I’m going to hang out.
As a single person, I wanna enjoy my life.
I’m really bored with my day job. My boss is super mean.
I’m turning on do not disturb and I’ll go join the fun!

I’ll have a drink to get me feeling like dancing.
I won’t be out cold for sure I’ll just sleep peacefully.
I’ll head home by two in the morning.
Just give me one day to have some fun and enjoy myself.

It’s time to head home, but how do I get my car out?
Hey, handsome, can you help me out?
Can you help me move this car?
Or do you want to take me home? Please help me move the car.

Can you move the car, please?
Can you move the car, please?
Can you move the car, please?
Can you shift the car, please?
Not the front one, but this one.

Can you move the car, please?
Can you move the car, please?
Can you shift the car, please?
Not the front one, but this one.

Can you move the car, please?
Can you move the car, please?
Can you shift the car, please?
Not the front one, but this one.

Can you move the car, please?
Can you move the car, please?
Can you shift the car, please?
Not the front one, but this, this, this, this one.

Can you move the car, please?
Can you move the car, please?

Prelude

In the name of god let's start this poem 1
May God appreciate it
And may it be mentioned in the valleys

Anyone who heards it writes it
And won't forget it
The sagacious mind will understand its meaning

And we pray the Lord to guide them2 on the right path
For him we direct our wishes
So that they go away from me, I left all my money with 'em

I'll buy you a juice ♥

I will buy you some juice!
An-an-an an-aan-an...
Ahh, Saturday night!

(Good night everyone. Today, I'll try to sing a song as well as I can)

I'm happy today because it's my first date!
I will buy you some juice
Even though my monthly pay is below 1,00,000 Yen
I will buy you some juice!
Sometimes I am violent
But sometimes I will buy you some juice
You must pay for the dinner
But I'll buy you some juice!

Love's really about give and take!
Only wanting is a bit painful

And that's why!
I will buy you some juice
I will buy you some juice
I'll give you half of my juice
For you, sometimes, my juice - I'll give you some!

We are meeting at the station platform
I will hold your bag for you
Give your seat to me! Why are you sitting?
But I will hold your bag!
When we get on the elevator,
I will push the buttons for you!
Instead of that, pay my rent and utilities! I beg you! sorry...
I will push the buttons for you

Love is of course a 50-50 effort!
I won't be a burden to you...

And that's why!
I will buy you some juice
I will buy you some juice
I'll give you half of my juice
For you, sometimes, my juice - I'll give you some

(Now, I can buy you some juice)
(Coke? Fanta? Sasuke?)
(Pick whatever you want, go ahead, here here)
(Oh, oh no oh no oh no oh no 10 yen, I don't have enough
Oh well, next time, yes?)

I will buy you some juice
I will buy you some juice
I'll give you half of my juice
For you, sometimes, my juice - I'll give you some
